And We're Back!

For Mother's Day Spencer had a book made of our blog up until this point.  I was really touched to go back and look at our collective journal.  We have had some great times and learned a lot.  It felt fantastic to see what we have experienced together.  Sooooo, I'm back, and with pictures to prove that we kept on living despite my blogging silence.  Here is a SUPER quick recap since we last blogged in Boston.

We live in Nashville, it was a wild ride getting here; but we're thrilled to feel very settled and happy.

Walt turned 1.  He looks like a male version of me, and has a temperament like his Daddy; worse combinations have occurred in nature :)  Here he is celebrating his first birthday back in January.  He received 100 balls and has been happy to talk about them ever since.  I'm pretty sure his 3rd word, behind Momma and Dada, was basketball.  It was and is still adorable.

More proof that Walt is adorable.  He learned to walk at 14 months, so he spent a lot of time being happy sitting up.

Anna turned 6 on an absolutely beautiful day in February.  It was timely, except for the whole Winter Olympics theme.  But who can complain about short sleeves, trampolines, and faux snow ball fights in February?  I was particularly proud of her cake.

Faux Snow Ball Fight

Easter Sunday was a real treat.  Anna was wanting a swing and we crafted this one out of webbing, good enough!

Kate doesn't take a bad picture.  Also, Kate got at least 20 books for her birthday and has been speeding through them.  While reading our journal this morning I noticed that when she was three she used to climb out of bed and turn her light on so she could read.  Some things never change!

And this picture is me and my babies after a picnic, playing in the creek, and all the rest.

And the man who makes it all possible...

Elise- I would like Tara's family all on their own merits, but because she reminds me of you it's all the better.
Emily- thanks, you're so sweet!

If a book with your whole blog is what it takes to make me see pictures of your family, then I should be very thankful to Spencer! Love your new do! And your family, as always.
