My Dad is running for State Senate and we generally miss out on all the political activity that surrounds my parents, but we happened to be in town for a voter registration rally where we could don shirts and meet some really great people. I think grass roots work is surprisingly fun and encouraging, always helpful to meet real people and hear their real concerns. My Dad is the one in the hat, he's great and I'm proud of all the work he does.
