Not surprisingly Adam was fascinated and beyond distraction or bribe to look at the camera. I love how children, specifically Adam in the case, treat their interests like a job. It was his duty to watch every movement of the operators, each limb being cut with the chain saw, and then every branch being chopped to bits in a big loud mulcher(?). If I had pulled him away from this his wrath would have been great. It was pretty cool.
We went to the beach with some friends of ours on Memorial Day. Their eldest son is 5. Yep, Kate is 7 - she's a real pipsqueak. These two had a great time together in the FREEZING water. The kids got stuck at one point in a little river area off to the side and I had to kick them out on a boogie board. It was so cold I couldn't breathe at first, but somehow these little toothpicks played for hours in that same water.

PS. Your kids are so darling.
brr!!!
and cool house!!!
You have such happy children, it's nice to see. Speaking of cold water, we hiked to a small waterfall in little cottonwood canyon today and when my foot went into the water it stung and Tom my breath away but my kids weren't even phased by it! They're superhuman.
Took, not Tom. Stupid autocorrect.
