Summing Up Utah

By the time we get back from our Utah trips I realize that I rarely blog about all the great things we were able to do. I'm usually waiting for pictures from others, or too busy tackling the post-vacation list of things needing to be done. By the time I get us all back in the swing of things my memory is a little less sharp and my determination has dwindled. So, here is my pathetic attempt to capture a really great trip.

We spent a lot of time with family and friends. I however have no pictures to document the great dinner we had up in Midway with the Derrs, Hudsons, and Becks. Or the fun lunch we all went to at Kneaders. But on to things I can document with pictures.

Easter, we had one at both Grandmas, and they were both splendid. Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures at the Joneses, I think we were too busy throwing hard boiled eggs up into the air and watching them crack in the street to take any pictures - but trust me, fun was had. Up at my mommas the girls got to hunt for easter eggs with their big aunties.

I like this picture because Kate and I are making the same face. We had just finished acting like bunnies. I don't like this picture because I had NO idea those jeans looked so sloppy. They have been dealt with accordingly.

Kate and Anna were able to play with some of their cousins quite a lot. Anna and Rachel are very close in age and they actually played together. None of this parallel play for them, they jumped on the bed together and went exploring and really enjoyed being together, it was very sweet.

Kate and the slightly older cousins spent a lot of time coloring, and coloring, and coloring some more. Both Kate and Jake (her closest aged cousin), were tempted by the scented markers and spent most of the vacation with marker on their noses, if you look closesly you can see what I'm talking about. In addition to their happily hanging out we went swimming at that fantastic indoor pool in Kamas, went bowling at the Wilkinson Center on BYU campus, outlet shopping at Park City, and some other great things that I'm sure I'm forgetting.

* I give up on fixing the picture layout - ugh. Sorry if it's confusing.

So you were in Utah and didn't call huh?
Okay
I hate it when I think I look good in something then see myself in a picture and I really don't look good! I have gotten rid of many clothes that way!

You were still on the other side of the world when we were there. Utah - Manilla, not so close.

Fun trip! You make a very good bunny! As for scented markers... I have been guilty of the marked nose many times; my grandma had a set that I used to LOVE!

miss you!

also, i always got way frustrated with the picture layouts on my blog but then noticed you can get some new picture tool thingy that works tons better. If you haven't done this yet, you should. Go to Customize/Settings...scroll all the way to the bottom, select Updated Post Editor. and that's it. that fixed most of my problems.

I think those jeans are cute. So is your shirt. So is your whole family. Wish we could have seen you, it would've been fun!
