After receiving an INSANE quote on merely steam cleaning our living room area rug, not to mention the other rugs, sofa, and tile floors that could use attention, I was desperate. I turned to a more affordable option, the Rug Doctor. I was intimidated at first, and wished I had begun my adventure with a smaller rug, but I'm happy to report that between Spencer and I we conquered the Rug Doctor and we have cleaner rugs and upholstery to prove it.
I would also like to document one of Dr. Jones' many talents. I hosted a baby shower yesterday morning and not only did he help me prep, he also took our girls to the park with the last minute addition of my friend's two daughters. He brought the girls back post baby shower, helped clean up, and then proceeded to help me steam clean our house. Then he went grocery shopping, bought some food storage items that I can't carry anymore, and went for a run. Spencer is a work horse and I'm glad he's my partner in crime, I need him.
* We're not inclined to reference Spencer as a Dr. - it just fit the theme of the post better, pardon the pun.

I am glad the good "doctor" has been so helpful....do you rent these rug doctors or did you buy one? Marcie has a steam cleaner dealy bopper and she brought it up once and I loved it. I need to borrow it from her again. I keep forgetting that Spencer is a doctor...the first time I realized that Jerry was a doctor was when one of his students at Ohio State called and asked for Dr. Jones....I thot he had the wrong #. Anyway, we had friends in Ohio at the Univ. who told us to use the title whenever making reservations at a restaurant....that it really helped. We have never tried it, but hey...why not. Love the queen (speaking of titles)
that husband of yours is a keeper for sure!
I would totally refer to him as the doctor. The doctor of LOVE, that is.
the baby shower was seriously so fun and everything looked amazing. sorry i couldn't stay and help out afterwards!!
that spencer is very impressive. tanner watched eli and one other little boy during the shower and when i came home the house was even more of a disaster than when i left, and he had to take an hour nap just to recuperate...seriously. i think i'll tell him about spencer to motivate him : )
what a marvelous husband!! Brownie points for sure :) way to tackle the rugs!! It would scare me for sure ;)
What a great husband! Clean carpets are SUPER exciting! And Dr. is perfectly fitting.
No wonder your home is so much cleaner than mine, I left the party and took a nap. Thanks again for all the help.
