We thought this would be the last moment we had with Anna in a cast. We were wrong. But the team did saw it off, hack it in half, lined it, and gave it back to us. Now she's supposed to take it off for 20 minutes a day so that she can use it; they want the arm to heal flexibly. So now we get to do cool things like the picture below with our constant companion.
This is a picture of Anna pushing a car under a bridge made of the bottom half of her cast. So utilitarian. It's taken us a week of bribing and show watching to get us to this point. Anna was SUPER nervous about taking the cast off, but she's comfortable now, so I think we're on the right track.
