The Life of a Blonde

I started life with hair color like Adam's.  Let me remind you how great his is.

After years, approximately fifteen years, of bleaching, coloring, etc.  I had hit a point where I felt like my hair was too light and too gold.  In an attempt for my hair color to match my eyebrows, because that was the only evidence of what my hair color would be naturally, this is what I've come up with.

I like this color for a couple reasons.  I think my skin looks better and it's different.  I also think I look more like my sisters and my mother.  Things I'm not crazy about; I'm concerned that under certain light my hair looks a bit green, also I think it's weird the ends are darker than the roots - which is the complete opposite of my hair experience thus far.  I've been told that the color will continue to fade because we put this dark color on top of my previous light color.  So maybe come May I'll think this is the best idea ever, until then I'll continue to do double takes in the mirror.

from Lorena: Andrea - you look fabulous. You do look a fair bit different than before but I loved your look then and I love it now. Funny how much a hairstyle/color can change so much about how you perceive yourself and how others perceive you. Wow, I'm getting deep now, better stop.

Adam is so stinkin cute! and you look so sophisticated. Ditto with lorena basically. i totally think people treat me differently and better when i have brown hair even though i too was once a natural blonde...
