Yesterday All My Troubles Were So Far Away - Like in Mesquite

I'm going to start with Anna, in a good way.  I love Anna for many reasons, the one on my mind today is that she is so earnest.  She is not proud, doesn't care about pleasing people in a way that is at all selfish.  She likes to make people happy, but not to make you like her any more than you already do.  I am not that way, I will have to ask my Mother if I've always been a people pleaser in a totally selfish way.  Anyway, she has taught me how to enjoy the moment like no one else could.  I love her little crazy haired self for it.

We drove back from the Grand Canyon yesterday.  It was a great trip, but this post isn't about that, that particular post is coming.  This post is about Anna.  I told Anna that she could watch a movie on our personal DVD player, it's the kind you hold in your lap.  Kate had already watched her movie earlier.  Anna holds the movie so that Kate can see easily and so that she had to bend her neck at 90 degrees just to see anything.  I hope I will always remember seeing her little face tilted in my rear view mirror.
