The Whole Picture

1. For Thanksgiving my parents and three of my sisters came to town.
2. My friend offered to let my whole family stay at her place while she and her family are out of town.
3. Same friend offered to let me use all of her beautiful china and silverware to create the perfect Thanksgiving feast with an equally beautiful table.
4. Spencer made most of Thanksgiving Dinner and it was delicious. Let me recommend Alton Brown's brined turkey - so moist and flavorful. Also, Tyler Florence's potatoes, wow. We're food network junkies, can you tell?
5. We went to Disneyland and had the best time I've ever had at an amusement park. My Dad went with seven females. Just him and seven females, he's a good sport.
6. We went to the beach multiple times.
7. Kate fell in love with my sister Gabi and we didn't hear boo from them the six days they were here.
8. Anna eventually fell in love with Hannah. Multiple times a day she walks around the house shrugging her shoulders and asking where Hannah is.
9. BYU won.
10. LA Temple Lights, so lovely.
11. Spencer is wrapping up a paper he's been working on for awhile now, we're anticipating he'll surface again soon :)
12. How could I forget, we went to the Getty Villa. I'd been meaning to go there for some time; their emphasis is Antiquities. Kate and Gabi took this great tour just for kids which talked a lot about Grecian Vases. I learned that Gabi is a smarty pants who remembers all the Greek stories a lot better than I. BTW, the Villa was converted from the Getty home into this fantastic museum. Really worth seeing.

How fun! You're lucky to have good friends, that sounds like an awesome Thanksgiving with board and pretty dishes with no money changing hands. VERY good friends.

I loved having my nieces and nephews visiting. I swear every time they were around my kids wanted nothing to do with me. Heaven!

Go Cougars!
