Anna surprised us all at lunch today when she was answering some questions. We were attempting to teach her how to respond to, "What's your name?". Spencer pointed to Kate and asked, "What's her name?". Anna answered, "Kate". Spencer pointed to Anna and asked, "What's your name?". Anna answered, "Not Kate". How do you like that example of second child issues?
Have I already documented this? Every night Spencer reads to the girls before they go to bed, it's a fantastic habit. Usually Kate is enthralled and Anna is running around, but everyone is all smiles.
Anna has recently learned that she can hang and swing underneath a lot of different things in our house, at the park, etc. She is really proud of herself and loves to practice her monkey skills. Earlier this week I caught her trying to walk up a doorjamb. I foresee a few Emergency Department visits in our future.

I love it! The Not Kate especially, so funny. Noah does that monkey swinging thing too--from the mantle, from the kitchen counter, from everything.
"Not Kate" is Classic. We love seeing photos of the Joneses.
