UEA Fall Break I

No, not for us. Just for the majority of people at Disneyland this past week. Everywhere you looked there was a Ute or BYU t-shirt. Utah was well represented, but I believe the Y came out on top. I have to say that I'm a believer in Disneyland, it's not just hype, it really is a fantastic place. It could have been because the weather was perfect, the lines were short, I have a 3 year old to explore with, or the fact that my parents and two of my sisters were here. Whatever the reasons we had a great time. My top 5 moments are as follows:

1. Kate seeing her first character. Goofy came walking out of a door and Kate chased him down with a look of determination and gave him a hug. It was magical.
2. The pineapple slices.
3. Kate and Anna's faces on the Winnie the Pooh ride.
4. The parade, I love the Little Mermaid. I might be a mermaid in heaven.
5. The part on Indiana Jones where you wonder how you're not going to be flattened by a boulder heading your way.

oh my gosh, SO FUN! I know tons of people who went this week, so I'm not surprised at how many Cougars were there. But when we went in May, we saw tons of them then, too, so it may not have been a one-time thing. I am so jealous! It looks GREAT. I'm a believer in Disneyland too. There is something magical about it. My funny cousin-in-law wrote a poem about it, you should read it. (click here)

Only 35 miles or so. We'll definitely be going back; give us a call if you ever want to go :)

Looks like fun. We will be there with the older 2 kids in 3 weeks and they are so excited. Jason's parents take the kids when they are 5 and it is really nice not to have the younger ones to deal with so that we can really enjoy it. I know when McCall goes she will have a blast because she is such a princess girl, unlike Mollie

Oh how fun! I haven't been since I was really little. It sounds magical. Then again, I might need to wait until I have kids who I can watch be tangled up in the excitement!

Ha! Cracks me up about all the Utahns down there. Many of them were at Lagoon, too.
