These Are My Days

Here is what Kate does on an average day. She plays, and plays, and plays. Until she falls asleep, filthy and exhausted.



I was sitting next to a nice woman at the park and remarked to her that my child was always the dirtiest one there. She commented that Kate really experienced things. She went on to say that she had observed her over at the water feature having a great time


and that now she was leading a group in a long jump competition in the sand. (This water + sand equation is a frequent state) I am so glad this woman made this comment because it's really helped me refocus the way I teach Kate. She really does learn best by doing, and that's an important thing to know that about your child.
