A First

On Labor Day we took a family bike ride on the beach. Spencer pulled the girls for a mere 22 miles, I was impressed. The girls did really well, they seemed to have a great time playing while we pedaled along and saw some of the most beautiful views known to man. I would have to say that our little bike ride was my most favorite thing we've done here so far. I loved being able to talk to everyone as we pedaled along. It's kind of hard to get back in a car after riding a bike, life's just better on a bike. Enough with my ramblings, we rode our bikes to the beach and met our friends who had started a bonfire, we had tinfoil dinners, played in the ocean, roasted smores, and had a great time. This picture is of the girls on the ride home, pardon the shot through the canopy; they were real troopers and seemed to have a great time. It might have helped that we stocked their trailer with water bottles and treats. I'm still counting the day as a victory regardless.

I'm glad you have discovered the pleasures of biking. I would not mind living in a bikable community.

How fun. That would be my favorite part of living there as well, except the ocean, the beach, nice weather, yeah we are definitely going to have to visit soon.
