:). Everyone I have met is very nice and collegeal, and there is is a lot of diversity. There are researchers working on projects trying to predict placement of IEDs (roadside bombs) in Iraq and others studying the economics of Medicare reform and the impact of retail clinics on ER utilization. Anyways there is a lot going on. What I did not fully appreciate was that now that I have started work I still have to go aroung and "interview" with people and convince them to let me work on their projects, it is like applying for a job all over again.

Think Tank
(Spencer's Inaugural Post) I made it almost thirty years but Monday marked my first day of work at a "real" job. I think I will like it quite a bit, I have an office (with a door even!), it has windows (with an ocean view
