11 Little Known Facts About Kate
1. Kate is an excellent eater. I can recall a time where she asked to have more carrots instead of dessert.
2. Yesterday she said, "the workers are idiots". I asked her why she said that, her explanation was that the people who sold us her bike didn't give her a bike with shocks. She wants a bike that bounces up and down like her Dad's new bike.
3. She frequently mentions playing dress up with her cousin Lauren. I love that being around her cousins is important and memorable to her.
4. Kate spends time everyday drawing and painting, she is really good with oil pastels.
5. Kate loves Anna. She loves to help take care of her by getting a bink, diaper, wet wipe, etc. They are really playing well together.
6. Kate has an opinion about everything. Sometimes I find this frustrating, but I also really like this characteristic. She is often able to tell me what she doesn't like and why. I'm glad she's able to identify so much of what she fells and thinks.
7. Kate loves to talk on the phone. I think she does a pretty good job of it too. She can answer the phone, start a conversation, and end one also. She loves to call her grandmas; and her Aunts, Michelle and Natalie.
8. Last night we went to this really excellent outdoor mall called The Grove. Kate kept finding reasons to stay. She loved playing with the belts and hats and shoes while her parents attempted to update their own sad wardrobes. While there we bought some new panties for her, she put them on this morning and said, "Wow, I really like these." This is no small feet as she is incredibly picky about the feel of her underwear. We have given up entirely on socks.
9. Kate has been beautiful from day one. I remember when she was a couple weeks old and we walked into the Gap Outlet in Park City. People stopped and starred and pointed at this beautiful little girl with her blonde hair sticking out of the top of the Bjorn.
10. Kate is tough. She got caught in a wave at the beach, was rolled twice, and is still willing to go to the beach.
11. Kate LOVES her Dad. They get along marvelously and make each other extremely happy.

I've been wanting to go to the grove for a while now- glad to hear you guys had fun.
We'll have to check out some cool places together while the husbands are at work.
Cute post, Kate is adorable.
It is painful to read your blog though because it makes me so homesick!
And, noticing a few comments about biking made me remember to recommend a shop out there, maybe you already know of the Performance Bike shop in Santa Monica, but they have by far the best deals in the area. You can always find stuff on sell. Don't know about their service dept, but their prices are the best. Although that's probably no issue for you anymore with Spencer's new fancy-schmancy job.
Another place to try is Tito's Tacos. YUMMMMMM. Just get the tacos. And Taco's Por Favor. More yummmmm. I think it's lunchtime for me. Yep. Wish I could hop on over to Tito's.
