Most nights around here are family nights. But Monday nights we try to do something a little extra. Tonight I packed a picnic dinner and we headed down to the beach. Here are a few shots. Kate is becoming less and less timid of the water, Spencer caught a few good waves, Anna was a happy camper, and I really enjoyed taking these pictures. My favorite vacations as a child were always to the beach, it's always been my happy place. Now I get to visit it a lot and I'm loving it. We were only out for an hour or so, but notice the change in light. I'll insert them in chronological order.

It is beautiful there! And it looks like you had the place to yourself. How does Anna like it? Noah hated it.
Anna does well as long as she doesn't touch the sand! She doesn't like the sticky feel of the salt water or the scratchy feel of the sand. She does like the sound and a light breeze. BTW, to get sand off, use lots of baby powder and brush the mix off. It's great.
