Kate Girl is 3!

Kate had a great Birthday Party today! We had cousins, rainbow cake and rainbow jello, and an amazing May Pole activity. Thanks to Grandma Nancy for the umbrella and ribbons that she crafted into Kate's very own May Pole, she certainly paid a price for her efforts :)

I would like to publicly admit my affection for Sugar House Park. We have many excellent family memories there. We have often ran there, with and without a stroller, running into Barrett at baseball practice, playing at both playgrounds, I've attended an Art Market or two there, we've met friends for play dates and I've saved the best two for last. Our first married winter my Mom, Sisters, and Brother came down and we took our sleds and snowboards to the park for a little late night snow fest. While we were there it snowed around 6 inches. The snow falling through the glimmer of the street lights was the magical Utah variety that is huge and dry and fluffy; we had the best time. Kate's birthday now shares the top of the list.
