Spencer did it! We did it! It's over. It was a great ride, but it's time for something else. We feel like we had an excellent experience going to school at the U, and living in Salt Lake. Since we've came to SLC for school Spencer has completed a masters and a phd, I completed an associates in interior design, we've had 2 kids, renovated a condo, taken a few really excellent trips, spent precious time with family and friends, and learned a lot. Today's commencement felt just the way it should; a last hoorah as we plan and get going on our next step. My favorite of all these pictures is the one of Spencer carrying both girls in his full regalia. Sometimes I wonder if there is anything he can't do. After the ceremony, his parents, my parents and sisters, Mere and James, Nate and Sue, Matt and Marcie, and Michelle and Omar, all went to a Brazilian Grill and stuffed ourselves. Good times were had by all.

Congratulations Spencer...that is a major accomplishment! Your girls are adorable! I was just randomly blog hopping and discovered the Jones Family! Last time we saw your family it was just the two of you. Hopefully you remember us too...looks like you're moving:( Kind of funny we've both had two girls since our last encounter!

Congrat's Spencer. I do like the picture of Spencer with the girls, that is priceless. Jason will be done with his bachelors this week. Five years and 3 kids later he is done. I think I am more excited than he is, maybe because I remember when I graduated from BYU. Anyways good luck in California.
Congrats Spencer!! I love the robes that he got to wear...they seem so official ;) We also went to Brazilian BBQ after Lyle's graduation...haha ;) Good luck with the next step...sounds so exciting!!!
Oh man... I'm such a boob, but this post almost made me cry! It was SO beautiful! I LOVE the picture of him carrying both the girls. What an awesome family you are. A huge congrats to all of you.

I'm going to comment on a few of your posts:
beautiful children, beautiful house, beautiful that Spencer is finally a Dr. Spencer Jones, PhD. (and that's not Player hatin' Degree), and most beautiful of all that you are moving to Santa Monica. Like Rob said, we have all of our best church friends in the Malibu ward, and it's like no other ward. And Pacific Palisades/Malibu is like no other place. Congrats. We miss it a ton.
