It's Time to Say Thanks

I'm having one of those mornings where I need to think about all the good things in my life, or else. So I thought I would start with all the helpful and nice things that people have done for me this past week, this is an easy task as I've had an amazing week.

Monday - I finished the last of the Great Harvest Cookies my visiting teacher dropped off.

Tuesday - My sister Michelle drove us up to my Mom's house so we could make soaps and so Kate would have a few different faces to look at.

Wednesday - My friend Kiki watched Kate while I went to my Drs. appointment. She also watched her for a bit afterwards so I could get a few errands done, very helpful.

Thursday - My friend Natalie picked Kate up and watched her for the entire afternoon and evening so that Spencer and I could go out for Valentine's Day AND Spencer got me some lovely flowers. We went to a really charming place called the Oasis Cafe - organic and absolutely yummy.

Friday - Spencer finished his dissertation! 167 pages later I can call him Dr. Jones.

Saturday - My sister-in-law Meredith and her husband James came to our house and helped us fix a pocket door, install new blinds, and take out a ceiling fan and replace it with a new chandelier. Meanwhile, my mother-in-law dropped off an entire bag of clothes for Kate and Anna that were all passed down from my sister-in-law Andrea.

Sunday - I'm sure something amazing will come our way :)

I'm very blessed.

oh yeah, 2 questions.

1) what is a pocket door?
2) where did you get new blinds? we are in desperate need...i broke ours and now they're stuck open!

1. a door that slides into the wall that you can push in (completely concealed) or pull out - it's on a track

2. We got ours at Home Depot. We had to special order a few sizes and they were spendy! However; there is no way we could put our home on the market with the old blinds.
