To Glide or Not to Glide

Does anyone have an opinion on gliders and recliners? With Kate I had neither and I just suffered through. Oh how I suffered. Just kidding. I was thinking that it would be lovely to get a glider for this baby. Do you have success stories with your gliders? I of course like an $800 option, which is not an option. Any suggestions?

I really like the $800 version also. I used an old family rocking chair with Sarah which was pretty good. I am currently using nothing which is a bit tricky at times and is often resulting in me falling asleep in bed or on the couch while feeding the baby and waking up several hours later a bit stiff. I think I would go for the glider if I had the option!

definitely go with a glider. we got a cheap one at baby's r us and it works fine. not my favorite, but it's at least a place to sit while i nurse. my sister has a REALLY nice one and it's the most comfortable chair to sit in when you're tired! one thing i would do differently is get an ottoman that you can lock into place. i like to put my feet up on the ottoman and rest the baby on my legs but the ottoman moves and drives me crazy. my sister's locks and it's heaven.

I got a recliner that glides at RC Willey on clearance. It swivels, reclines, the footrest comes up, and it glides instead of rocks. I fall asleep in it all the time. It was probably $200 or so.

And by the way, would you please add me in Facebook? I've been waiting for days!

You snot...I didn't even know you were pregnant. I guess I showed have scrolled down earlier! Congrats! This baby will be so much better than Kate was.
I would go with a rock recliner myself. I have had countless nights rocking my baby than falling asleep in the recliner.
Let's get together!
