This past Sunday we went for a drive. We just needed a tiny break, and the hour or so drive to the beach fit the bill. I snapped these pictures in Rockport, MA. There is something so uplifting about being near the water and being able to see evidence of how people have lived and worked for a good long time. It makes me want to leave a lovely footprint. How many years has that barn hosted a wreath? How many years have those cages been in the water?
