I Sat in a Cop Car Today

My friend and I took our six children to the park today.  Our two oldest get along really well because they're both curious, physical, creative little creatures.  They were so cute kneeling on a longboard, one in front and one in back, while pedaling along the sidewalk.  They were so cute when I would look up periodically, until when I looked up and didn't see them.  And I didn't see them as I walked around the grass area, and I didn't see them as I ran to a different section of the park to see if they had wandered over there.  I did see them after I ran over to the female officer to ask for help and she told me to get in the car and that they would be fine and after we had driven around for a few moments.  She told me to take a few breaths before I spoke to them.  All is well now, but I offered quite a few incoherent prayers as I stood on top of mounds hoping to catch a glimpse of their little heads.  I'd never been in a cop car before.

AHH! SOOO scary Andrea. I don't know if I know a worse feeling than not being able to find your kid. Horrifying. So glad they were okay!

Were you at Clover Park? I hate Clover park. Not sure how you would drive around in a cop car there, though. Blah.
