What Would You Do?
I would like to get done everything possible pre-Adam that I won't be able to get done as easily post-Adam. I've cleaned most of the light fixtures, the shower curtain rod (for you Emily), I'm waiting to clean the window screens for some lucky Saturday when Spencer is home to help. Some of you have recently had babies, what would you do if your hands weren't tied up in newborn babyness? Base boards? Refrigerator?

Seriously, you are forgetting the hired help. And your many sisters visting. If nesting doesn't get done, think of these people and rest easy.
I read an article in Real Simple magazine today about organization and left/right brainedness. I am by far a righty, and you are by far a lefty, and that makes me feel way better about my lack of organization, even though I am trying to be more mid-brained. And organized in general.
Let me know if you need help. I have a couple 4-year-olds that would be awesome at scrubbing baseboards.
Organization--clean out closets, get rid of extra junk, have baby's space completely ready. I still had boxes of baby clothes and stuff from my shower that I hadn't done anything with and now it's such a pain because the only time I can get to her closet is when she's sleeping...and I don't want to wake her up. Ugh. So yes, my answer is organization.
You're getting so close, so exciting!
I would like to vouch for Andrea's organization. She does not have excess. So, while organization is happening all the time, I don't think that organization will be the key thing that she needs to do.
Andrea, you da bomb!
Nap.
I am in the same mode right now--4 things on my list are: clean out all kitchen cupcoards, clean off all doors/door frames, clean windows, and tally up my food storage. Fun stuff huh!!!
from Lorena:
Oooooooh...nesting. So much fun to go a little off your rocker before the baby.
Relax!
But, okay, you are totally right. You want to have everything perfect so that you don't have to lift a finger for the next several months or years after your baby is born, right?
I was thinking I would have everything perfectly organized, as others commented also.
Also, I would stock up on anything possible to stock up on. Any food or other goods that don't spoil would be bought in serious, serious bulk.
Good luck!
oh man, i did like everything. i went through and cleaned out ever closet... drawer... pretty much every thing i could think of and reorganized everything. i am sure you are much better and keeping your house cleaner and more organized than i am, so i doubt you need to be as extreme! i also got my car washed/ vacuumed which made me feel a lot better. i can't wait for adam to arrive!!
