The Day Has Come
To say good-bye to Kate's comfort item; a cold hard sippy cup. She's slept with this cup since before she was two years old, and since she's been two it hasn't had a drop of liquid in it. She's been surprised while sleeping other places to have thoughtful aunts and uncles or grandmas and grandpas offer to put water in it before she goes to bed. Why would she need water in it? It's not for drinking it's for snuggling up to! Well, I was making her bed yesterday and noticed that sippy wasn't looking so pristine anymore, in fact... sippy had mold spores growing in it! Just what a little girl with unknown allergies needs to be cuddling up with every night! So long sippy, it's been real!

What a funny "lovey"!!!!
And thanks for your sweet words; I hadn't thought of that and I really like it.
that's sad? Is she sad? Besides the whole sllergy thing mysteriously clearing up (in your wildest fantasies, maybe?)
Isaac still sleeps with a sippy too. On his sixth (!) birthday, we get rid of it. I can't wait.
