Good Days

I couldn't take it anymore. We hadn't been to the beach in ages and it was time to venture out. Here are the girls remembering how blissful the ocean can be. As soon as we'd crossed onto the sand Anna sat down and refused to go any further. She saw no reason to walk out towards the water when she could dig right where she was. We'll have to re-teach her how this whole process works. She will also have to remember that the seagulls will swoop down on her if she's carry pretzels about - I didn't get to her in time once and her finger was nicked.

This next picture is of Kate sporting a headband her friends made her for Valentine's Day. She is having her Valentine's Day Party today at school and she made 20 Valentine's for her classmates. She wrote, Happy Valentine's Day (or something close to that) and signed her name. I am very proud of her. She was super excited getting ready for school this morning

Wow, good for Kate! Very impressive! And boy does that beach look heavenly today, what with the 3 inches of snow on the ground this morning. Ugh, Utah.
