1. They went camping with us. They are brave souls to go with two children who are infamously bad sleepers. Surprise, surprise; our girls LOVE camping. I should have known. I should have known that they would love rolling around in the dirt, sitting on top of tables to eat, yelling at squirrels, sleeping next to their parents, and going to the beach. Did you know that you can tent camp near beaches? I didn't till we moved here, I think it's a great option. Also, it is difficult to get camp spots at Leo Carillo, where we were. You pretty much take what is still available 12 minutes after they open up registration. So we happened to land the group camp site. The six of us had a camp site that can accommodate 55 campers. It was fantastic having so much space to ourselves. We did have to hike our stuff up from the parking lot, but still well worth the lugging. Here's a picture of Kate eating the first smore I can recollect her ever eating. We put Anna to bed before the smores were broken out, we're not stupid.
2. Meredith introduced me to the store, Paper Source. I don't take enough time to create anymore. It was fun to talk to Mere and explore this store with her. Paper Source is to Banana Republic like Michael's is Old Navy.
3. We played beach volleyball. This is Spencer and I's new favorite go to activity. It's so fun and the girls put up with sitting on the sidelines and digging in the sand very well.
4. Who knew Spencer and Kate looked so much alike?
