Kate's Messy Day

We were able to have Kate's birthday party yesterday and I had a good time. She seemed to enjoy herself too. I forced these unsuspecting children to watch a short clip about Jackson Pollock and then encouraged them to experiment with their own semi-canvas and paints.

It was kind of a dream come true for me, I really liked watching them paint.

We also had an obstacle course that culminated in a tarp of shaving cream and then they proceeded to make bum prints on the basketball court. A good, messy, time was had by all.

WOW, you're a cool mom! isaac's party is this week and we'll probably do the standard pin the tail game. I'm way too lazy for that much mess. Happy birthday to Kate!

What a cute party! The painting part sounds great. I love Kate's hair, so cute short, but I am pretty partial to short hair.
