Easter Prep

Today in the car I told Kate that we would be dyeing eggs tonight for Family Home Evening. She asked why, and I told her because the Easter Bunny was going to come on Sunday morning and hide the eggs that we had prepared. What do you tell your kids? Oh well, now I just have to spend the next ten years of my life living up to that thoughtless statement. But, we dyed eggs and it was pretty fun. This was a very difficult activity for Anna to watch, as I didn't think of a way she could really participate. She found a way of course, knocked over the blue cup; now parts of her look very smurf-like.

I gonna tell my kids that the easter bunny is made up by the liberal marketing people. And that I will bring them candy. That's one thing you can tell kate.

Oooh, you're brave. I have carpet under my kitchen table. We will NOT be dying easter eggs until we get hardwood floors. Sometime in the next century.

we don't have an easter bunny. i put out the baskets myself and tell them that. i mean, come on, santa is at least a PERSON, not an animal.

I will have to give you one of my felted egg trees...quite the creation, but hard to send in the mail...you can pick one up the next time you are in town...Kate's hair looks so long and Anna is getting way too big.
