Camping Advice
It feels like summer is right around the corner and I'm dreaming about camping trips. We have a 4 man backpacking tent that might be too small now if we're going to bring a port-a-crib for Anna. We've also never taken the plunge and bought sleeping bags, we've always had the option to borrow. In Utah you buy the serious sleeping bags, but here I'm considering buying the weenie fleece sleeping bags just to avoid the middle of the night wake-up calls from nylon slipping against nylon. So I'm soliciting opinions on gear and tips for camping w/ kiddos. We've taken Kate a few times, but I'm always up for doing things better than before.

Can't wait to see what people say. I'm not a camper but I know my boys would love it! I also got called to be the camp director for my ward this summer and I'm DREADING it. So, any helpful tips from you would be nice!
I think in July we should do another family campout in the high uintahs like we did about 12 or 13 years ago. Grandma and Grandpa need a cabin - ha ha...or a blow up bed. The kids would love it. We need to set a date now when Mark and Andrea are here....plan it ok???
sorry :: wish I could help :: but growing up with my dad we never went anywhere that didn't at least have four stars ;) He always said he didn't understand the whole sleeping on the ground thing ;)
John did lots of research last year and we ended up with this tent

He thinks it's awesome and I love how big it is.
Good luck.
