Not Much Left
At the end of this day I feel like I don't have much left. In 24 hrs all of the polling, walking, negotiating, watching other people's kids, and meetings will be over and the people will have spoken. We've spoken and spoken and spoken. We've learned a lot, we've served, we've prayed for inspiration, we've donated and in the near future we'll just sit and watch and wait. I'm grateful for the opportunity I've had to gain a testimony of something new. Being a member of the LDS faith for almost 30 years means that I haven't had to gain new testimony for awhile now. I've had to eat crow and humble myself to get my answers, but the process has been well worth it and I'm grateful to have had the experience. And now it's time to go out and vote.

I bet it has been crazy for you Californians!!! I am just wondering what it will be like to wake up wednesday morning...I was freaking out about prop 8 not passing and then I realized it is in the Lord's hands and maybe he just wanted to know if we would be strong enough to heed our leaders council on such a contriversial issue...kinda seperate the wheat from the tares...yah know
Whew, thank goodness it's finally over. nothing we can do now but wait.
i am glad it is almost over too but what a great experience this has been for everyone.
8 props to the Joneses for all your labors! It passed!
You did it!! Thank you for your hard work. I can not believe the insane opposition that has been shown even since it passed. I saw the protest at Temple Square on Friday night... 2,000 people! Again, thanks so much for having such a strong testimony to work so hard for that.
It's all because of you, Andrea! I just wish all the craziness of the aftermath would stop.
