No Particular Order II

Last weekend I made the trip back to good ole Lima, Ohio, this time with my 2nd child in tow. Last time I was in Lima was 6 years ago, pre-Spencer, pre-Kate, pre- Jones status. My trip started out on a surprising note when we watched my friend Reza (I stayed in Columbus with him and his wife Christy) run a 5k at the Abercrombie and Fitch campus. Not only was the campus gorgeous, I would be surprised if they didn't have their photo shoots there, but it was a lot like their stores; yep, you guessed it. Music blaring and even the outside smelled like cologne. It was awesome.

Addie's Mom, Addie is my best friend from high school, offered to watch Anna (thank you) while I went to my 10 year reunion...at a bowling alley. What does one wear to a bowling alley reunion? Anyway, despite the dress confusion almost everyone I wanted to see was there and I am really glad I went. The OSU v. USC game was playing on the television and of course everyone was a Buckeye and most were very upset that it was a Trojan game. Oddly enough, Spencer was watching the same game here in Trojan country with a very different crowd. It was really strange to be in a place where no one (except Addie :)) knew of my current life, they just knew the 18 year old me. Kind of eerie, very liberating. It felt like I had to leave Ohio just as soon as I got there. I wanted to stay for one game of Taboo in anybodies parents basement, maybe I'll suggest that for the 20 year gathering. I grew up with some truly good people, and I'm proud of Shawnee High's Class of 1998!

Ahh! Pictures of the old boyfriend, stories about addie...is it weird that I totally remember these people too like I went to high school with them in some distant memory? It sounds like it was fun!
