I've decided that Wednesdays might be my new favorite day of the week. Why you ask? Because it's ward beach day. That's right. A bunch of the Mormon moms and their friends with kids all go to Ocean Park Beach on Wednesdays at 4. It's awesome. Not only because it's Santa Monica so the weather couldn't be more perfect, but because your children can play with other people's children and you can talk to other adults. It's brilliant. As an added bonus Spencer's commute home happens to take him right past the beach, so he's there it help load the kids back into the car and make the drive home with us. You want another reason to love LA, well here you go. Kate dropped my camera last night. This morning I called Nikon and they told me to drive 7 miles south to El Segundo and drop my camera off. When I got there they told me the fix would be complimentary. In the words of Randy Newman, I love LA.

so fun! we have 'splash park' day in our ward every week but I'm pretty sure the ocean beats splash park!

Zach and I used to rip on California because of the housing prices, but now I'm rooting for a clerkship by the Jones family!

You mean 115 degrees and no clouds isn't perfect weather? :) We will have to come visit you this summer to get out of the heat, now that we are pretty close!

Wow, you guys are having a blast! Meeting famous people, being beach bums, new clothes, etc. Good times!
