We have some smart friends, Alicia and Zach Derr (they're the couple on the right). Long ago, last summer, they recommended that we try American Apparel T-shirts. We baulked. Can they be that good? We assumed that they weren't worth the shipping charges and the slightly higher price tag. On our way to church last week we saw our very own American Apparel store, so we stopped in this past weekend. The T-shirts are that good, Spencer especially is a believer as they are actually long enough and slim enough for him - hence his nickname, Slim. Another credit owed to the Derrs is that they recommended buying a Garmin navigator. This useful device has saved us a few headaches already. When you can't find the Target, just whip out your Garmin and he'll show you the way! When the bicycle shop that you looked up online is no longer in business you can look up another! And then it'll tell you how to get there! Very helpful device when you're new to an area.
