We have many wonderful things to say about LA. I would have to say that my favorite thing so far has been walking from our apartment to the beach. My excitement was palpable, and Kate was feeding off the energy. By the the time we got there I believe that Spencer was ready to kill us both. But we had a great time. I love the way the ocean smells, the way the air tastes, and the sand feels great too. But my all time favorite is the pull of the tide, it's magical. The water was nice and cool after our hot walk. We've been told that we're in the middle of a heat wave, and I'm happy to hear that these temperatures aren't normal, it's VERY hot and humid and church today didn't have a/c. For the grandparents out there, we went at 8am and were back before 10 as to spare our fair skinned children.

how cool is that? you can walk to the beach from your apartment! so fun. makes me think of when we drove to san diego our sophomore year and stayed with cassie's brother. fun times. oh and i love the picture of kate in your header. so cute!
