Pres. Hinckley was the prophet of my church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, from 1995-2008. He passed away last night and I am struck with how much I will miss his voice. No one who heard him speak doubted his intellect, wisdom, compassion, and love for all men. I was always very proud to have any association (members of the same church) with such a man. I'm glad that he worked so hard to be a good person so that all of the LDS members of the world could look to him for an example. He was a very positive man, despite having the cares of the world on his shoulders, we all can rely on that memory and message. President Hinckley gave me a modern day visual on how to lead a Christ-like life and I will always be grateful to him for such a gift.
